On Interracial Marriage (by Steve Sailer)

I found this article about interracial relationships a while ago, but I don’t think I ever posted it:

It’s funny, smart, and I wish I wrote it. :) He makes reference to an article regarding a general theory of race that he wrote previously, which prompted the interracial marriage article (well, a disgruntled reader who apparently thought races should not intermarry prompted the article, but anyway…). That article is also worth a read, but much longer (you’ve been warned!).

He doesn’t seem to be posting anymore (at least not at that site), which is too bad!

I added his blog to the blogroll - the page listing all his interracial marriage articles. I got sucked into the main blog - his movie reviews are hysterical!

Well, I liked parts of the articles. Granted, he was very intelligent and very well spoken, but at times, repetitive and wordy, making parts of the articles very hard to read. I had to re-read several portions to remember exactly what the article was about to begin with. I haven’t got to the movie reviews just yet though :)

Okay I read the longer article and I thought it was great. My favorite part was where he defined the different “races” as groups who are just more inbred than others. LOL It’s so perfectly true, that it puts race in a whole new perspective for me.

That’s why the KKK and other people who are so concerned about keeping themselves racially pure are so funny - basically they think extensive inbreeding is best. lol

There is a forum (http://asianfanatics.net/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t422576-600.html) where some Chinese racists hang out, and here’s a quote from one of them:

“Mixed kids look screwed up to me. I don’t want to look at a mixed kid when I come home from work, b/c it looks screwed up. I believe that race is a factor in the family unit and it should consist of one race.”

LOL. Yeah. They look screwed up. These people all have the same mindset no matter what race they are: “I need to keep myself pure”. Where “pure” = “limited gene pool”

Anyway that article was great.

Thing is, I must admit I never looked at mass immigration as a way of limiting interracial relationships. I was actually impressed with the writer’s thoughts. So should we really demand immigration cutbacks just to promote interracial marriages? I think what the writer means to say is that immigrants only marry interracially because they dont find their own while in the foreign country. Is it really this way?

Probably - I’m sure it’s a big factor. I mean, if you move to a country, or part of a country, where you are a small minority, your chances of marrying someone of your own race become very slim just due to the small numbers of your own race.

i think immigration from place t another in mass number helps all in marrige as it increses the options of inter race marriage .
